Statement on Coronavirus Disease

To our patients:

As the healthcare community continues to prepare and respond to the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the United States, we felt it important to share with you how our office has adapted to the situation. The CDC has published Interim Guidance for Healthcare Facilities: Preparing for Community Transmission of COVID-19 in the United States and continues to provide healthcare providers and the public several useful resources. You can find this information on their website at cdc.gov.

While the risk of encountering COVID-19 in our area is still very low, your health and safety is our top priority. Based on the CDC guidelines, there are prudent precautions we are taking to maintain a low-risk environment. We are going above and beyond the standard infection control requirements by extending disinfection of public common touch areas (reception counter, door knobs, etc) from twice per day to four times per day.

In addition, we ask for your cooperation. If you are experiencing influenza-like symptoms (such as sore throat, fever, and a cough), please call ahead and reschedule your appointment. If you present for an appointment with these symptoms, we will reschedule your appointment.
